Is your servicing centre approved?
Yes, we are approved by a range of car manufacturers and by major insurance companies.
Do you use genuine parts?
We always aim to use authentic parts for your vehicle wherever possible. If alternative parts of a similar quality are closer to your budget, we can fit these instead. Ask us about the advantages of genuine, model-specific parts.
Will my car be serviced on site?
Yes, all work is done at Tempest4Cars near Brighton.
Can I wait on site during the service?
Yes – please make yourself comfortable in our customer waiting area.
Can you collect and/or drop off my car at my home or office?
Yes, we pick up and deliver to locations within a ten-mile radius of our location. This service must be booked in advance, contact us to check and confirm.
Is there a courtesy car service if the servicing lasts several days?
A courtesy car may be available, subject to a booking fee and terms and conditions. We aim to carry out the vast majority of services on the same day.
How much does a standard MOT cost?
Please check our website and offers page to see the latest pricing for MOT tests. We may also have limited-time discounts.
Can I arrange a fixed-price servicing plan at Tempest4Cars?
Yes. As well as making more convenient monthly payments, you can benefit from reduced pricing on parts, labour and MOTs. Please get in touch to find out more.
If my car fails an MOT, can it be retested for free?
We can potentially do this in line with VOSA guidelines. Please ask at your local dealership.
Is valeting included with my servicing appointment?
Yes, all cars are valeted at no extra cost.
How long does a typical service or MOT take?
'While-you-wait' appointments can be as quick as an hour and a half. The typical amount of time we take to perform a quality service is four hours.
Will you update my service history?
We will make sure your service book is stamped and up to date.
Is work guaranteed, and if so for how long?
Yes, all of our servicing and parts fitting comes with an additional warranty.
Can you remind me when my next MOT is due?
This service is available upon request. Please tell us how you'd like to be reminded – post, email, text message or via another method.
Do you do tyre inspections?
Yes, this is part of a free vehicle health check. You can also come to us for quick puncture repairs.
Can I book quick servicing over my lunch hour?
This may be possible depending on availability of our technicians. Please get in touch.
Are there any facilities for children on site?
While we do not have any child-specific facilities, families are very welcome at our customer waiting area.
Will I be informed before any work is done on my vehicle?
Yes, we always discuss the servicing needed and the cost, and get your approval before any work goes ahead.
Do you have extended opening hours?
We are open until 6pm on weekdays. You can also book in with us over the weekend.
Can I bring my vehicle in the day before the service?
This may be possible by prior arrangement.
Can I pay by credit card or cheque?
All major credit cards are accepted. Please ask us about paying by cheque.
When new parts are fitted, will my car be test driven and checked before I get it back?
Yes, we double check every vehicle after any new components have been fitted.
What do I need to bring to my servicing or MOT appointment?
Please leave your service book on the passenger seat, as well as the immobiliser code and wheel nut key if you have them.
